Light-powered Watch Charging Guide

A light-powered watch containing a solar cell underneath the dial to convert any light into "electrical energy" and reserve the power in the secondary battery. 

Power reserve: 5 months.

Over charge prevent function is operated to prevent the secondary battery deterioration and breakage.

 

How to charge

1) Expose the watch face to sunlight or strong artificial light (Of more than 1000 Lx).

2) Keep the watch exposed to the light until the second hand moves at 1-second intervals.

 

Guidelines for light-powered watch charging time

 

Note

When power stored is reduced to a low level, the small second hand will move at 2-second intervals. In that case, recharge the watch as soon as possible. Otherwise, the watch may stop operating in about 1 week.

To promote ambient charging
- Avoid covering the watch face with your clothing while wearing it.
- When the watch is not in use, leave it in abrightly lit place. 

 

Caution

When charging the watch, do not place it too close to fluorescent lamp or other light sources. Make sure the watch temperature does not exceed 50 degree Celsius to prevent damage to the parts inside the watch.
